Teacher first, builder always.

I have spent more than twelve years teaching technology in Massachusetts classrooms, in high school career and technical education and at the college level. Most of that time has gone into helping people understand how things work and making complicated ideas feel approachable.

Story In Reach brings that same habit to websites. I have seen a lot of good organizations whose best work deserved a bigger audience online. The people running them were busy doing the work itself, and organizing the website around visitors kept slipping down the list. That is the part I like to help with.

Why these two groups

Small museums and historic sites carry stories that are worth a visit, often with a handful of staff and a lot of volunteer heart. Independent therapists do some of the most important work there is, and the people looking for them deserve a clear, kind first impression. Both benefit from the same things: plain language, a fast site, and steady upkeep.

How I work

Story In Reach is a part-time, one-person practice. That shapes how I work, and I think it works in your favor:

  • You work directly with the person building your site.
  • I take on a small number of clients so each one gets real attention.
  • Scope, price, and timeline are in writing before we start.
  • You own your domain, hosting, and files from day one.
  • If something is outside what I do well, I will tell you and suggest who can help.

You will see “we” in the tagline. In practice, that means me, working alongside you.

Good work deserves to be found. My job is to clear the path.
